For sale, 1972 MKIII Triumph GT6. Built in late 1971, this GT6 was dispatched on 4th January 1972, it left the factory just as you see the car today, black exterior, black interior, and overdrive.
An original UK RHD car, GDG 444L is well looked after not only mechanically but with tasteful modifications, de-bumpered and with wolfrace wheels, the car has a real presence and ready-to-go stance. The 6-cylinder engine runs great, just as you would expect, on the road the car is direct and precise and drives well.
The current owner has maintained the car with no expense spared over the past 5 years, we have carried out all work on the car from routine repairs to drive shaft overhaul and suspension bushes.
The GT6 has a fantastic look, I think it is a really underrated car and to have a lovely 6-cylinder engine mounted into a small lightweight body makes for a brilliant country lane car or longer distance tourer with ample boot space and a comfy interior.
