Built and developed by us at Bill Rawles Classic Cars, this Austin-Healey 3000, built to FIA spec has been used sparingly since completion in 2021 and has been raced only 4 times in 2022 & 2023 but as the current owner has opted to focus on racing his Healey 100, this 3000 is now up for sale.
Built with no expense spared, the car was stripped down to a bare chassis and rebuilt from the ground up with all necessary racing improvements and strengthening needed. The engine is a full steel build with triple 45 DCOE webers. Gearbox fully rebuilt, straight cut sebring gearset with comp overdrive and the rear axle is fitted with uprated half shafts, an LSD and 4-wheel disc brakes.
Hand made aluminium hard top, heated screen, screen protection, handmade aluminium dashboard, heat and sound insulation in the cockpit and fitted rubber mats, perfect for endurance or sprint racing. Removeable steering wheel, tillett seat and 6 point racing harness.
Built and prepared in house, this Healey is ‘on the money’ and ready to go racing tomorrow and available for worldwide shipping. In person or video call inspection welcome.
Supplied ready to race, with all of the correct parts needed for competitive and reliable FIA racing in either pre 63′ or pre 66′ spec.
Built from a genuine UK RHD MKIII. Supplied with V5C and all documentation.
Eligible for events such as Spa 6 hours, Silverstone Classic and club racing, Equipe Pre 63′, Masters Gent Drivers and GT & Sports Car Cup.
