Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII
We are happy to present for sale this Austin Healey 3000 MKIII, finished in Ice Blue over White, possibly the same paint it left the factory with. This Healey was built between the 1st and 2nd of March 1966 and is an original right-hand drive, home market car. All shown by the heritage certificate included in this sale. A low unit car, only 237 were produced in 1966 for the British market. Additionally, this vehicle has recently had an engine rebuild and extensive work done by us, improving this car’s mechanical reliability.
Remaining in UK ownership throughout its life, this Healey has been cherished by its current owner since 1972. During that time, it was regularly driven and enjoyed on various outings. For enhanced safety, a roll cage has been installed by the current owner.
Recently, this example has undergone extensive work with us, including: A full engine rebuild, newly reconditioned clutch, new fuel lines, a brake refurbishment and more, all disclosable upon request. As well as our own history of work that we have completed on this car, it comes with an extensive history folder of work done throughout its lifetime. This allows you to have piece of mind that this car has been well serviced and looked after. From this history, we can see that the hood, tonneau and the 2 front seats were renewed in 2014.
While the original paintwork has naturally faded with age, adding character and authenticity that reflect the car’s history.
