For sale, original RHD Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII.

A fantastic opportunity for someone to acquire this recent arrival, an Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII which has been laid up for around 5 years now and is in need of recommissioning and bringing up to UK MOT standards. The vehicle runs and drives but it is described as a recommission project which requires some work mechanically to get it back on the road. This could either be completed by us in our workshops or sold as is. For the prospective buyer, we have produced a list of work to complete on the car.

Built in 1964 and restored in the 1990’s the car comes with a good history file including a heritage certificate which shows this BJ8 was an original RHD car built and dispatched to Healey Car Sales Limited for personal export. Often, this means that a British resident was overseas at the time of purchase but as it is clear, the car either never left or it only left temporarily as it was UK road a day after dispatch so I expect it never left the country as it was intended.

This vehicle was previously recommissioned by us in 2014 and has had little use since which is why the owner would like to sell the vehicle now. It is presented as you see it with some spare parts coming with the car but at unbelievable value, hopefully someone who has always wanted an Austin-Healey will be able to afford it.
