Austin Healey Club at The Four Horse-shoes
The New Forest Austin Healey Club has a Noggins & Natters at The Four Horse-shoes Pub, The Street, Long Sutton, Near Odiham, Hampshire, RG29 1TA.
Although The New Forest Austin Healey Club is one of the smallest UK centres with just over 150 members, it does cover a wide area, taking in Dorset, Hampshire and part of Surrey. The Four Horse-shoes at Long Sutton was chosen to provide a monthly pub meet for those Austin Healey Club members that are in the more northernly part of the region.
The Club meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month during the better weather – April through to August.
The pub is fairly small but cosy and is situated in picturesque countryside, next to Lord Wandsworth College. Described as a ‘traditional country pub offering superb cooked meals at reasonable prices, together with a selection of Gales best bitters’.
We went along to the Four Horse-shoes meeting last month and it was a poor show – So come on let’s see if we can reach double figures attending this month!!!
