Noggins & Natters at The Empress of Blandings
The Empress of Blandings is where the New Forest Austin Healey Club hold one of their regular monthly pub meets, known as Noggins & Natters. There are are four different planned pub venues for Healey Club members, living in the New Forest region.
The NFAHC meet at The Empress of Blandings on The Romsey Road, Copythorne, Hampshire, SO40 2PF, on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
The Empress of Blandings at Copythorne is a Hall and Woodhouse Pub. An independent family company, owned and run by the seventh generation of the Woodhouse Family. It has the unique honour of being the only building to be a member of the P.G Wodehouse Society. P.G Wodehouse is greatly regarded as one of the greatest comic writers of the 20th Century. The Public House is named after the Empress of Blandings, a fictional Pig, featured in many of The Blanding Castle Novels and stories by P.G Wodehouse.
