Austin Healey 3000 Rally car, ready to be enjoyed at many more events in the future.
Well accustomed to the eventing world, this Healey has participated in an amazing 17 rallies, under its current ownership, between 2005 and 2023. These include the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique 12 times, the Rallye Sanremo Storico 3 times and the Tour de Course Historique twice. This Healey has been shipped from Norway to BRCC for sale, and since arriving with us, we have completed a full inspection and report which can be made available to interested parties. In the event of UK purchase, with instruction from the current owner, we will complete the vehicle import and cover all fees to get the car UK road registered.
In 2012, the car received a full engine rebuild and a Toyota 5 speed gearbox was fitted 6 years earlier to improve usability on long and tough rally stages, as well as extensive upgrades for long distance rally, from trip meters to carefully positioned document holders and navigation lights, the car is also fitted with telescopic rear suspension. Maintenance and rally success is highlighted in the history file that comes with the car, giving peace of mind that whilst the car has been used, this 3000 has been loved and well looked after.
Overall, a great car with proven history for competing in events such as the monte, rally the globe, LeJog or three castles, perfect for fun with friends and family on regularity rally stages or a suitable vehicle for Healey Sport; Sprint and Hill Climb Championship.
