We are pleased to offer this 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII for sale. Presented in Reno red, a colour reminiscent of the early 100’s, complimented by a striking red interior. Full of character and with an exceptionally long-term ownership history, this much-loved Healey is now ready to find its next owner and embark on a new chapter. 

This car is well known to us at Bill Rawles Classic Cars, having been serviced and valued for insurance purposes by our workshop on numerous occasions since 2016. This car has been maintained both by the owner and Bill Rawles Classic Cars for several years and visited our workshop in 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2026. In the more recent years, however, its use has become less frequent due to the current owner’s health.  

Consequently, the car exhibits a few age-related items. Including: worn bushes, minor oil leaks and small paint cracks and chips. These have been reflected in the price. A detailed inspection and report prepared by our workshop is available upon request. 

Over the cars life it has been beloved by 2 proud owners. The first owner had the car from 1964 up untill 1987. Prior to its sale, the car was repainted from Colorado Red to Reno Red, an original Austin-Healey factory colour. Since acquiring the car in 1987, the current owner has cherished and maintained it for the past 39 years. 

This Healey is a 3000 MKIII phase 1, featuring the desirable combination of the pram style hood, wind up windows and wooden dashboard for a refined and comfortable driving experience. The Phase 1 cars are easily identified by the pullout door handles rather than the push button. 

This is a Healey that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Honest, well cared for and brimming with character. This car will bring a smile on your face, whether completing country lane miles or European touring.
