Austin Healey 3000 MKI BN7

We now offer for sale this 1959 Austin-Healey 3000 MKI BN7, beautifully presented in Old English White over Lobelia Blue. A period-correct colour combination reminiscent of the iconic earlier 100 S models. 

As with 90% of Austin-Healey’s, this example was originally exported to the United States. It is one of just 168 left-hand-drive cars exported in 1959, and one of only 2,825 MKI BN7 models produced in total. Following its return to the UK, the car was converted to right-hand drive, as it is now presented. 

The BN7 is the desirable two-seater variant of the 3000 MKI. The model is particularly well suited to touring, benefiting from a generous boot area thanks to the raised spare wheel compartment, along with a spacious and comfortable cabin layout. 

 This example retains its original accompanying features, including the tonneau cover, side screens, spare wheel cover, and hood, all trimmed the same as the interior and presented as shown in the accompanying photographs. 

In late 1998, the car underwent a mechanical recommission and service, details of which are documented within the history file accompanying the vehicle. The comprehensive history portfolio also includes a heritage certificate. 

This Austin-Healey 3000 MKI BN7 is a well-presented example with good history and desirable specification. Suitable for touring, regular use, or as part of a classic car collection.
